Spend the following day in Juneau, which sits about 4,000 feet below the mountainous Juneau Ice Cap – a large ice mass from which as many as 30 glaciers flow. Visit Sitka, once a battleground in the fight for Russian and Tlingit control, and now considered one of Alaska’s most beautiful cities. Continue to Ketchikan, a town which measures its rainfall in feet (instead of inches). Finally, spend an evening discovering the Inner Harbour of quaint Victoria, British Columbia, and all of its museums and world-class restaurants. Return to Seattle to end your voyage.
